The United States Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association is unique among service organizations in that it was created by the Chiefs, of the Chiefs, and for the Chiefs of the United States Coast Guard.

Our Purpose

The Eastern Great Lakes Chapter Chief Petty Officers Association (EGL CPOA) is a not for profit, war veterans designated 501(c)(19) and is comprised of active duty, reserve, retired and honorary Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers. Membership in the Chapter is also open to all sister service men and women having successfully held the rank of Chief Petty Officer (Navy), Sergeant First Class (Army), Gunnery Sergeant (Marine Corps), or Master Sergeant (Air Force).

The EGL CPOA has involved itself with several community service projects and initiatives within the Eastern Great Lakes area.

We support the Buffalo Naval Park.

We support Adopt a Highway.

We support Habitat for Humanity.

We host lunches for the members at Sector Eastern Great Lakes.

We support junior members in emergency financial crisis. 

100% of funds received or raised are put into our people.
